Another Webify Update

Just want to give a quick run-down as to the progress
of Webify. I mentioned before that we decided to make
the switch to Obj C as the programming language as
opposed to REALbasic because of the greater
flexibility that C will provide. I found that
switching to Obj C did two things that I was not
prepared for:
1. Much more time to develop and to test the application.
In all honesty, I anticipated that we would have a shipping project by this time. But everyone who is working on Webify is committed to providing a feature rich and stable application and that means that time allotted to complete the project has been pushed back a number of times.
2. The second thing that I was not prepared for was just how much of an improvement the Obj C version would be to the REALbasic version. Using the C language has laid a very good foundation to build more features on in future versions.
When will Webify be available? Well, I keep getting asked that question and I keep giving the same response ... “Soon”. So when exactly is “Soon”? I have learned to not give out dates because they will always come back to haunt you but I will re-iterate “Soon” ... “Real Soon”.
